Lauterach - 05.02.2007
On 05.02.2007, GW Feldkirch opened a new office at Mäder/Kriessern on the Swiss border.
Three employees will be handling all customs services here, and GW will in fact be the only forwarding agent present at the Mäder-Kriessern border crossing point. With this new additional service facility on the border to Switzerland, Feldkirch Branch Manager Heinz Martello is anticipating considerable advantages. "It is particularly in the case of truck journeys to and from the Kummenberg region, that our new office in Mäder will make the routes much shorter. Direct routes mean of course less emissions and at the same time more rapid transport. The reduced workload at other border points will also contribute towards faster processing." GW has Central and Eastern Europe offices in Austria, Switzerland, Germany, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Bulgaria, Romania and the Ukraine. The logistics company recorded sales of 789 million Euro in fiscal year 2005.
