Which export documents are needed? Air freight has to be fast - but what use is the best connection between two places if there are unnecessary delays at departure or arrival because of the wrong or missing papers? What can we do to prevent this?

Deliveries withing the EU
For deliveries within the EU an invoice, delivery note or packing note with the following data is sufficient: sender, recipient, content, delivery conditions, number of parcels, weight.

Export Documents - obligatory
Forwarding order/shipping instruction. Always state sender, recipient (tel. no. and contact), content, delivery conditions, number of parcels, weight and if necessary dispatch regulations.

Invoice
Trade or proforma invoice with the value of the listed goods, also in the case of goods being delivered for free or on guarantee. A proforma invoice must however list the value which correponds to the real trade value.

Export documents - conditional
Export declaration / Customs documents (EU) for the customs clearance for goods in accordance with the legal regulations (except meat, sausage etc). Provided on request.

Copy of L/C
If an L/C is used in the transaction you will need the copy in order to be able to generate the forwarding documents according to the regulations.

Export permit
... if needed - our customs service will gladly advise you.

Others
... such as veterinary attestations, dangerous goods declarations etc.
